- How to preserve:
- The power supply must be in range 220V ± 22V and set closer to the ECR.
- Avoid storage ECR in areas with high temperature that is above 400C (70oF) or humidity.
- Keep the machine away liquid (paper outlet and LCD display). Immediate dry it if having any dropping into.
- If LCD display is dirty, clean with a wet cloth. Note, never use the humid, cotton or 80% cotton one.
- Avoid direct light (such as: sunlight, lamps with high power ...)
- How to change paper:
- Open the printer cover.
- Take off remaining paper: Depress the bill feeding button ↑ or the EJF feeding button ↑ to remove the remaining paper. Also, pull the green paper trigger towards the paper roll and take the remaining paper out. Don’t pull the paper out of machine with your effort because that will cause damaged printer and jammed paper.
- Set new paper: Place the new paper in the correct position on the printer’s paper. Make sure that paper was made straight.
- Insert the paper into printer at outlet position.
- Press on ↑ button to roll the new paper into mechanism.
- If this is saving paper, direct it to the outlet of the electronic journal.
- In case of receipt paper jammed:
- Pull paper holder up by lifting inlet-outlet system.
- Remove the part of jammed paper.
- Close the paper outlet.
- Carefully, push inlet-outlet system down at edge with two hands.
- Return electronic journal to previous position.
- How to change ribbon cartridge:
- Open printer cover and then take the old ink out.
- Use knob to stretch the new one out.
- While this was inclined, insert it in the middle of the paper and print head.
- Use knob again for stretching.
- Carefully, push inlet-outlet system down at edge with two hands. Return electronic journal to previous position.
